HUBUNGAN PEMBERIAN ASI EKSLUSIF TERHADAP STATUS GIZI BAYI DI DESA TANJUNG MULYA MUKOMUKO

There are many factors that can affect the nutritional status of infants, including exclusive breastfeeding. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status of infants in Tanjung Mulya Mukomuko Village. This study used an analytical descriptive method with a cross sectional sample design. The sample in the research was 36 respondents. The data collected are exclusive breastfeeding history and direct measurements of infants weight and height. Based on the results of the study that respondents not given exclusively breastfed were 41.7%, and 19.4% experienced malnutrition status (wasting). The results of the chi-square test showed that there was no significant correlation between exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status of infants in Tanjung Mulya Mukomuko Village with a p-value of 0.943. There was no correlation between exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status of infants in Tanjung Mulya Mukomuko Village.Downloads
